Hunters Creek Village

Hunters Creek Village

Extending south of I-10 to Woodway, this intimate community is known for its wooded acreage and stunning homes. Its large lot sizes, close proximity to downtown and stellar schools makes Hunters Creek a most sought-after location within the Spring Branch Independent School District.

Incorporated in 1954, the tree-lined neighborhood of prestigious Hunters Creek Village is only two square miles. But the superb architecture, peaceful atmosphere and multitude of hike and bike paths make it seem like a much larger area. Its close distance to well-heeled shopping and entertaining venues like Memorial City Mall and The Galleria has kept property values on the rise. Some of the original homes have been extensively remodeled, and recent construction by custom builders continues to enhance this timeless area. The median home price in August 2013 is nearly $2 million.

The neighborhood includes approximately 1,460 homes. School-aged children attend Hunters Creek Elementary, Spring Branch Middle School and Memorial High School. All three schools are well-respected in the district, and Memorial High offers a competitive environment for college preparation as well as a strong sports program.

The Memorial Villages Police Department serves Hunters Creek and provides 24 hours per day, seven days per week marked patrol car coverage. The Village Fire Department uses the most up to date equipment available as well as highly trained personnel, and has earned the Insurance Service Organization (ISO) rating of “2,” which considerably lowers the cost of fire insurance.

The City is governed by a Mayor and five City Council members. The Hunters Creek City Hall houses the Municipal Court as well as all hearings and meetings. For more information, visit
